The Hardin County Schools Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council is collecting items to brighten the lives of local homebound residents and those in long-term care facilities.
A collection bin has been placed at each school in the district. Students, staff, families, parents and community members are encouraged to bring items that would help bring a smile to senior citizens. The collection drive will last from April 21 to May 5, 2026. This past weekend one of our WOODLAND Eagle students, Amari Henry, competed at Kentucky Youth & Middle School State Wrestling Championship held at Broadbent Arena. After placing Top 5 at Regionals he earned his spot to compete at State. This Eagle represented Woodland with hard work and determination placing Top 10 at the state tournament out of 30 wrestlers.
A big Thank you needs to go to North Hardin Wrestling Club for supporting and developing this athlete.
We are so proud of his dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship!
