The Hardin County Schools Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council is collecting items to brighten the lives of local homebound residents and those in long-term care facilities.
A collection bin has been placed at each school in the district. Students, staff, families, parents and community members are encouraged to bring items that would help bring a smile to senior citizens. The collection drive will last from April 21 to May 5, 2026. We are EXCITED to welcome students back to school after Spring Break!! There are 27 school days left until summer break for K-12 students!

This past weekend one of our WOODLAND Eagle students, Amari Henry, competed at Kentucky Youth & Middle School State Wrestling Championship held at Broadbent Arena. After placing Top 5 at Regionals he earned his spot to compete at State. This Eagle represented Woodland with hard work and determination placing Top 10 at the state tournament out of 30 wrestlers.
A big Thank you needs to go to North Hardin Wrestling Club for supporting and developing this athlete.
We are so proud of his dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship!

Fall Photo Proofs Are Here! Students should be bringing them home today and the easiest way to purchase is Online using your specific Online Code on your proofs. Paying online also gets you options for Personalization and Digital Downloads for select packages. You may send payment in to the school but must make checks payable to Strawbridge Studios or you can send exact payment only in cash in the provided envelope.
The K-Kids group along with all North End Schools are doing a food drive to collect items that will go towards making food boxes for families in need for Thanksgiving. The classroom that collects the most items will duct tape Mr. Thompson to the wall!!! All donations are due on 10/31. The grade level that gets the most donations will get extra recess! Woodland is collecting Mac-N-Cheese while other schools will be collecting other items.
REMINDER - There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 13, 2025! The day is a Professional Learning Day for Hardin County Schools staff. We are excited to welcome students on Tuesday, October 14, 2025!!
